Seventh Sense is focused on developing novel diagnostic approaches enabled by simple, painless blood collection. The first in a family of products will be Touch Activated Phlebotomy™ (TAP) - a convenient device designed to provide a rapid and standardized blood collection procedure that can be performed by anyone, anywhere to enable STAT, point-of-care and home testing. The device can be used in multiple clinical settings and can also be self-administered, providing the potential for home use.
TAP devices in development will be able to interface to multiple types of testing instrumentation and devices, enabling broad application across hospital, decentralized and remote settings. In addition, custom configurations that allow dedicated use of TAP linked to testing platforms are under consideration.
For the future, integrated blood sampling and diagnostic testing systems developed under the On Vivo™ brand will bring unprecedented benefit in shortening clinical intervention time and reducing patient inconvenience.
